PRESS RELEASE
Lloyd’s MIU has become an official partner of Maritime Security International (MSI). This annual exhibition and conference will next be held in New Delhi between 6–8 November 2008 and is forecast to be one of the most significant events in this year’s maritime calendar. By providing a common meeting ground for maritime associations, navies, coast guards, shipping companies, port authorities, service providers and many other related sectors and agencies, MSI 2008, will facilitate not just dialogue and information exchange, but also enable a focused examination of today’s maritime security issues and potential solutions.
As the leader in global maritime intelligence, Lloyd’s MIU has been delivering concise targeted maritime data to all facets of the shipping community for nearly 300 years. The company produces a number of products which provide enhanced maritime domain awareness for government departments across the globe. Experts from the company will be attending the show as well as presenting a paper on managing intelligence led security risk profiles in shipping operations.
Julio Espin – Managing Director of Lloyd’s MIU’s commented “Given the dynamic and fragmented nature of the shipping supply chain, maritime security relies on accurate intelligence. We are glad to be supporting MSI with this important event in November.”
